Grad Fest was a reminder to seniors that graduation is coming shortly.

This event was set up by the Josten’s company in the Yeager Center Lobby at California Baptist University from Oct. 26 – 28, in an action to help many seniors who are graduating in December to prepare for graduation.

The Josten’s booths supplied the necessities and memorabilia that come with graduation.

They set up two tables in the lobby that provided assistance to graduates. Josten’s representatives provided seniors with the information regarding special graduation announcements, class rings, as well as the necessary graduation cap and gown fittings.

Many varieties of rings and packages were displayed starting from the price of $299 and up depending on the
certain customized model that a student purchased. All interested seniors had choices pertaining to the ring’s stones, stone cut styles, inside engravings, palm sides and different finishes.

Due to the specialization of the ring models early orders were recommended. “They take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery,” a Jostens associate said.

When it came to specialized graduation announcements, there were many package deals to choose from. The smaller package cost $72.65 with 25 personal announcements, the medium package cost $90.75 with 25 personalized announcement and the deluxe package cost $159.45 and came with 50 announcements.

Jostens took senior graduation portraits on Thursday Oct. 28 from 2 p.m.-7p.m. Spots were limited.

At the beginning of next semester, CBU will announce the second Grad Fest date for spring graduates.
