The fiction story details the life of a man who does mundane activities such as going to work every day and ends up feeling empty inside. This book could teach you how to overcome hurdles in your life. This would be a good book for students who are worried about what life is like after college.
•“Crazy Rich Asians” is a 2013 novel written by Kevin Kwan. It depicts the story of a Chinese-American woman traveling with her boyfriend to Singapore to meet his family. His family comes from great wealth and she is thrown into a frenzy of crazy family drama. What appeals to readers is getting an inside look on the traditions of a Chinese family in a modern world. The book was adapted into a movie in August 2018 in which it became one of the biggest summer hits.
•“Illusion” is a 2012 book written by Frank Peretti. He is known to be one of the top Christian fiction novelists noted by the Chicago Tribune. This thriller will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The story begins with a magician who recently lost his wife. Out of nowhere, a young, magical woman who resembles his late wife appears. The question is: Who is this mysterious woman and why is she identical to the wife? This book will make you keep reading to the end to find out what happens.
