Chris Hardy -- journalism student editors, writers, designers participated in the 28th Annual ACP National College Journalism Convention.
The California Baptist University campus produced publications were represented by 22 students and advisers at the 28th Annual ACP National College Media Journalism Convention Oct. 26-30 in Orlando, Fla.
Three of the campus’ publications “The Banner”, “Angelos” and “Pursuit” received awards in their respective categories. “The Banner” won 2nd place in Four Year Non-Weekly division, “Angelos” won 5th place in 300 pages or less division in Yearbook and “Pursuit” won 7th place in Features Magazine.
The paticipants attended educational sessions on newspaper, yearbook, magazine, design, photojournalism, web and social media strategies. They interacted with other journalism students, advisers and professionals from universities and colleges across the country.
