Majid Jordan released their sophomore album, “The Space Between,” Oct. 27. The Toronto duo Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman are signed to OVO sound, the record label co-founded by Drake.

The Canadian duo wrote and co-produced Drake’s hit song “Hold-On, We’re Going Home.”

With a sound similar to Partynextdoor, Majid Jordan dropped their second studio album with intentions of making waves in the world of rhythm and blues.

The hit songs on the album include, “My Imagination (feat. dvsn),” “One I Want (Partynextdoor)” and “Gave Your Love Away.”

Majid’s vocals in “Body Talk” flawlessly mix with the rhythm of the song. This song gives off Weeknd-vibes and will most likely find itself ranked on a top-40 chart. The duo’s first album

“Majid Jordan,” peaked at NO. 6 on the United States R&B and hip-hop chart.

“The Space Between” combines 13 smooth tracks, creating an album that shows the pairs’ chemistry.

In an interview with the Hot97 Studios in New York, Al Maskati and Ullman talked about the album title.

“The name is open for interpretation. It can mean a lot of things,” Al Mataski said. “It could mean like the space between truth and fiction, reality and perception. The ‘space between us as people.’”

Majid Jordan will be on tour January 2018 and will perform in Los Angeles.
