The Grove Community Church hosted the first Riverside Mud Run, on Saturday Sept. 25. A three mile obstacle course led runners over three foot barricades, through a mud-filled pit, crawling on their stomachs underneath caution tape, and culminated with a giant slip-and-slide. The run was 50 dollars and the proceeds benefited the church’s outreach program which sends out teams to Haiti, Chile, Tibet and other areas in the 10-40 window.
California Baptist University students were able to sign up for the run at a discounted price through the Campus Activities Board office.
