Theater Arts program opens ‘The Apple Tree’ musical
The California Baptist University Theatre Arts program presents “The Apple Tree” musical performance on Oct. 9-10 and 15-17 at the Wallace Theatre. General admission for the show is $15. Admission for seniors, students and CBU faculty and staff is $10. The CBU student price is $10. Show times are 7:30 p.m. each night as well as at 2 p.m. on Oct. 10 and Oct. 17.
First open mic night of the year showcases student talent
The Office of Community Life is hosting the first open mic night of the year on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. to showcase student talent.
The open mic night is part of a Coffeehouse concert series that will be happening throughout the year. The concert series will take place in the Community Life Lounge.
Sphere Project offers training for disaster relief
The Sphere Project is offering training for disaster relief from Oct. 12-16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m in the Copenbarger Dining Room. The training is focused on improving humanitarian assistance.
The registration cost is $75 per person.
Students learn through internship information sessions
The internship information session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Career Center Conference Room.
The information session will cover how students can get internships, as well as how they can receive academic credit for the internships they choose.
Seminary Fair provides opportunity to meet with representatives
The seminary fair will be held in the Stamps Courtyard from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. Seminary representatives from different institutions will be present and available to meet with students who may be interested in going into seminary after graduation.
