People often say that ‘sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.’ When I hear this, I can’t help but disagree. Words are such powerful weapons. It is said that ‘the pen is mightier than the sword,’ and it is so true. Words may not leave a scar, but they are painful.
I tried to convey that through this video by having a video that begins with a bruised and beaten girl and by the end, you realize that it was words that caused the injuries. I believe that if words left marks, people would be more careful with what they say.
