Tim Boba not only offers boba tea and food but free Wi- Fi and printing for college students, as well.
Savannah Rios, freshman liberal arts major, visited Tim Boba for the first time and said she loved the quality drinks and snacks the tea house had to offer its patrons.
“Tim Boba was hands down some of the best boba I’ve ever had,” Rios said. “The atmosphere is student-friendly and I’ll definitely be coming here more for a better place to study, print or hang out with my friends.”
The shop features posters encouraging students to use the resources they offer and to power through homework. The owner, Tim Pham, said he welcomes student customers and recalls searching for a different kind of study space as a college student.
“I remember trying to find a place to study, and I wanted to create a place that welcomes students and gives them a helping hand that I know I needed back then,” Pham said.
The restaurant offers a variety of items on its menu with drink prices ranging from $4 to $6 and food prices ranging from $4 to $10.
The drink menu consists of milk tea, blended drinks and coffee. Popcorn chicken, spring rolls and shrimp tempura are offered, as well. With any purchase, students gain access to a printer right in front of the counter to print any school work they need.
