A new iPhone hit the market in early September, proving that Apple continues to push the boundaries of cutting-edge technology. Apple debuted the phone on Sept. 9 at its annual fall product launch. Here’s what buyers can expect:

Apple Intelligence
Apple has embraced A.I. technology in its latest iPhone release, which can “harness the power of Apple silicon and Apple-built generative models to understand and create language and images, take action across apps, and draw from personal context to simplify and accelerate everyday tasks,” according to the company’s website. Systemwide writing tools will now tailor emails or notes with grammar and tone checks. Additionally, the highly anticipated Image Playground, a feature allowing users to create their own emojis, will be available.

Camera Control
The new hardware and software integration will allow for more innovative photos and videos. The pro camera system includes a high-precision force sensor that enables a capacitive sensor for touch interactions. This system also includes a new camera preview to help users frame shots and adjust controls such as zoom, exposure and depth of field. The iPhone 16 will also feature the highest resolution and frame-rate combination ever available on an iPhone.

Larger Display
According to Apple’s website, “The new Pro lineup features the thinnest borders of any Apple product and introduces larger display sizes: 6.3 inches on iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches on iPhone 16 Pro Max — the largest iPhone display ever.” The new display offers better durability with a lightweight titanium design. Along with the larger display, the iPhone will house a bigger battery to optimize battery life.
